What can I expect?
Many of today’s solutions for therapy are based off of only talk and processing our current stressors. This leads many to feel as though they are dependent on their therapist or they feel as they are talking in circles. I know that your circumstances are unique so together we will personally tailor your therapy to what works for you, with the desired end goal in mind.
First, we look into what is happening in your life that feels like it is causing your body to feel chaotic and out of sorts. Then we work on how to rewire your body and brain to remember what it can be like to feel safe, authentic, and fully you. We do this in a number of ways, including somatic work, parts work, and a little bit of humor too. Through our work together, we will reduce the daily impact that your symptoms have on your life and heal your nervous system.
1:1 Therapy offerings
Investment for Therapy: Taking care of your mental health and whole self can be an investment into you. Money can be difficult to discuss and if you have questions about the fee structures, please don’t hesitate to ask. I do not bill insurance but you can use FSA/HSA funds and I can generate a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company. Out of Network benefits are not guaranteed but you can call your insurance for more information on what is covered for you.
It is my hope to make therapy attainable for as many people as possible. I do offer some lower sliding scale spaces for under resourced/disenfranchized folks (QTBIPOC)
Full Session Rate- $180.
If you feel you cannot afford this rate and want to negotiate a lower rate, I ask you to intentionally and honestly ask yourself and assess your financial well being.
How much can I truly afford? What type of value do I put on therapy? Do I regularly go out to movies/social events? Do I pay for massages or pedicures regularly? Do I regularly go out for coffee? Do I know that I can afford this, even if it feels like a lot of money?
Please discuss with your therapist should you want to come up with a negotiated rate that works for both of us. Unfortunately I am unable to offer everyone who wants to work with me a discounted rate. As a self employed single mom, I am balancing my own financial well being as well as wanting to make therapy accessible for all.
I work primarily with folks experiencing intergenerational trauma, complex PTSD, DID and those within the LGBTQIA and poly/kink communities.

Highly Sensitive Individuals
Highly sensitive person here! I have a special focus and passion in working with those who, like me, have a highly sensitive nervous system. We work through ways to navigate a world that is not designed for the sensitive soul (BUT, guess what, we CAN make it work for us!)
Trauma
I use a somatic approach to treating trauma. This essentially means that I use our own bodies in the trauma work I do. We heal your nervous system from within. I use an AIR network lens in treating trauma and believe that all parts of us are valued and important. I also use aspects of IFS, EMDR, and eclectic approaches.
LGBTQIA+
Are you questioning your gender or sexuality? Has coming out been a difficult journey for you? I work together with you to navigate and develop a plan created just for you. As a queer therapist myself, I love working within the community and helping others navigate their identity.
